Quality & Quantity – The 4 foods that will not lead you astray

  • October 18, 2016

That’s right, when you were growing up and your mom told you to eat all your veggies, that wasn’t a lie. For the most part vegetables can be consumed at an almost unlimited rate. So when you get hungry, instead of hitting a processed option, break yourself off some of nature’s finest.

When I’m on the go and need to make sure that I have real sustenance, it’s all about handfuls of nature’s protein. Almonds, peanuts, walnuts, and the like should be the snack of choice, not only when the options are limited, but just in general.

While it’s not always an option, it’s the best way to get close to “natural”. Try to stick with products that bear this label. My meal prep usually consists of organic meats and veggies.

The deal with fruit that most seem to overlook is that they are NOT bad for you. I hear people screaming about sugar within the fruit at hand but what most seem to ignore is the amount of FIBER that is built in. That’s what makes it a viable source of controlled energy. So eat the fruit, the whole fruit and nothing but the fruit (for energy, that is). Just be mindful of how much, because everyones body reacts differently to what is taken in.
